A SCHOOL rolled back time when it staged a medieval feast as part of history studies.
Pupils at St Michael's CE High, Astley Road, Chorley, really got stuck in and tucked in to chicken drumsticks, bread and 'wine' - blackcurrant juice - at the unusual event.
The hall floor was covered in straw and there was even a dancing bear - an ex-pupil in costume - to boost the entertainment.
The feast, part of Year Seven's history lessons, was organised to help enhance what the children learn in the classroom.
