IT'S OK girls - the bed's still there. And the pillow talk's as rich as it ever was.
The man from Mississippi has lost none of his macho magic that makes a pretty mama melt.
When the bed rolls out on to stage Alexander O'Neal is still simply divan!
The beautiful blonde he plucked from the audience looked mesmerised as she sat on the mattress and was serenaded with the romantically haunting 'If You Were Here Tonight'.
Besides that old favourite Big A also thrilled with a string of mega monsters from the past - 'Criticize', 'Sunshine', 'The Lovers' and 'Fake'.
But O'Neal is not just about yesterday. He punctuated the show with songs from his latest CD 'Saga Of A Married Man' - a title he admitted took some research - he's had three wives and eight children.
While the crowd was excited by the big man's presence it was sad that the main theatre at King George's appeared only half full.
Another few hundred and the act would have brought the house down.
As it was, the chosen few will remember the night they saw a forgotten giant back driving the soul train ... and the bed head!
