ROVERS secretary Tom Finn today revealed the club are bang on course to sell all their tickets for the Worthington Cup final.
Rovers and their final opponents, Tottenham Hotspur, have both been allocated 29,852 tickets for the big day.
And at close of business yesterday, over 27,000 Rovers fans have now snapped up their seats.
So, with five days to go, the club are now expecting a last minute scramble for the surplus as Cup fever grips the town.
"By close of play yesterday, we'd sold over 27,000 tickets and we've still got lots of other applications to sift through so we are well on course for a sell-out," said Finn.
Club officials pulled all the stops out over the weekend to catch up with postal and telephone applications.
As a result, a substantial number of tickets have since been posted out.
Ticket office manager Miriam Clucas added: "If tickets ordered by post and over the telephone haven't arrived by Wednesday, supporters are urged to contact us."
