RAINBOWS, brownies, guides and leaders from the area will gather with guests, family and friends on Saturday to take part in the annual Colne Division Thinking Day Service.
The event will be held at the Independent Methodist Church, in Walmsgate, Barnoldswick at 3pm and will be attended by the Deputy Mayor of Pendle, Councillor Pauline McCormick.
During the service all members of the division will renew their guiding promise and guest speaker will be Daphne Wallace, the division's young leader guider, who will speak about her recent experiences in Uganda.
Thinking Day is an annual event where members of the Guide Association reflect on the fact they are a world-wide movement. A Thinking Day collection will be taken at the service which will help provide a printer for the Guide Association in Uganda.
