BURNLEY'S new £2.6 million bus station is still on schedule for a summer opening, despite some delays.
When completed, the Centenary Way development will include a new concourse similar to a shopping mall, with what has been described as a 'welcoming environment' for passengers.
Work is due to be completed in July, despite builders encountering problems with the foundations.
The new-look bus station is now starting to take shape.
The project is funded by Burnley Council and Lancashire County Council and the work in being carried out by contractors Turners.
