A MAN seriously injured in a car crash is still being treated in Blackburn Royal Infirmary.
The other four people injured in the two-car collision on Whalley Old Road, Blackburn, on Sunday morning, have been released.
But Yaz Blackburn, 25, of Stonehill Drive, Blackburn, a passenger in the Rover Vitesse, is being treated for extensive external injuries.
Harpit Singh, 21, of Dale Street, Accrington, the driver of the Rover, suffered cuts to his cheek and bruised ribs. The other passenger, Tony Cowpe, of Edgbaston in Birmingham, suffered fractured ribs.
Asif Baddique, of Dean Street, Burnley, the driver of the Nissan Sunny, suffered cuts to his ear, while passenger Umar Bhatti, of Bradford, had cuts to his face.
Both cars were badly damaged.
Police said they believed the Rover was turning right into Whitebirk Drive.
