MICK O'Horo has probably got pants older than Whinney Hill striker Robert Addison.

And John Howarth no doubt owns a pair of socks that have been around longer than Robert's younger brother Mark.

But old or young, all four played their part in this intriguing local derby.

The Addisons, whose combined age is four years less than O'Horo's 36, were tormentors in chief and both gave the Fenny defence a torrid time.

Howarth showed he can still mix it with the young ones and scored a cracking free kick while fellow scorer O'Horo put himself about up front -- and considering he was sent off in the last minute, probably a bit too much!

The Whinney Hill young bucks were out of the traps first as expected and the Addison's combined to set up Scott McGauley whose shot was blocked for a corner.

Robert Addison then turned Paul Otley -- despite the defender's best attempt to kick lumps out him -- but Craig Shannon saved his low drive.

Fenny soon got in to the game and the tireless Dave Berry got his passing range in and winger Matt Taylor was the main benefactor.

From one such combination, Berry split the Whinney Hill defence but Taylor made a mess of his attempted lob.

Howarth's shoot-on-sight policy clicked in and he forced Stuart Dean in to decent save.

However, it was at the other end where the first goal looked likely and Robert Addison volleyed over after some excellent work by his brother Mark.

But Robert unlocked the Fenny defence five minutes before the break when he beat two defenders and crossed for McGauley to volley home.

Whinney Hill should have gone further ahead early in the second half when Robert Addison sent a flying header wide after latching on to an inviting free kick from skipper Danny Lee.

Fenny then drew level from a set piece of their own when Howarth opted for pure power to fire home from outside the area. Berry then saw an overhead kick cleared off the line as the balance of power began to swing.

Taylor then saw a powerful header saved by Dean after a fine cross from substitute Joe Anderson.

The pressure finally paid off for Fenny when Howarth released substitute Lee Kenny whose cross fell kindly to O'Horo who stabbed the ball home. Whinney Hill sub Matt Pilkington was inches away from an equaliser but fired in to the side netting from a tight angle. However with just two minutes left on the clock, they did equalise when McGauley's free kick was headed home by Robert Addison who got the goal his performance deserved.

But the action still wasn't over and Addison forced Channon in to another save while Taylor was denied a Fenny winner when Dean beat out his powerful drive.

The game turned ugly in the closing moments and O'Horo, who made is mark in the game, made a mark on Addison's chest and was sent off.
