TOILETS at a school in Stacksteads are being upgraded thanks to Government cash of £47,000.
Headteacher of Holy Trinity CE School in Booth Road John Aspin said the work was being carried out in phases so that facilities were always available for the children to use.
The work began at the 15-year-old school during half term and is expected to be completed after Easter.
The school has three toilet blocks for the nursery, infants and junior school children.
Mr Aspin said: "We are replacing some toilets and having the surface replaced ."
The nursery and junior toilets will be upgraded during the Easter holidays.
