I CONGRATULATE you on your excellent football columns by Simon Leigh and Stephen Cummings.
The way they have a 'pop' at one another is childish, but good fun I think, and the first thing I look for on a Tuesday evening.
But Stephen had me looking for my dictionary when he called Rovers a clown academy and said they were pratfalling down the Premiership (LET, February 12) which made me think, is this some strange sort of Yorkshire dialect or maybe they are the 'in' words at places like Rotherham, Wrexham and Scunthorpe.
