GREASE is definitely the word at Manchester's Opera House this week.
Danny (Craig Urbani) and his T-Birds along with Sandy (Haley Flaherty) and the Pink Ladies take to the stage for a glittering all-singing, all-dancing performance of the longest-running American hit musical.
Everyone knows the story. It's 1959 and the last year at Rydell High School -- cocky Danny Zuko falls in love with new girl Sandy Dumbrowski, but she's so square and he has his reputation to think about.
Bursting with classic hits such as You're The One That I Want, Grease Lightnin', Hopelessly Devoted To You and, of course, the unforgettable Summer Nights this explosive feel-good production will have you grinning from start to finish, and for a long time after.
Grease appeals to everyone -- from those who can relate to the 'good ol' days' to youngsters watching through fresh eyes. Fantastic all round family entertainment.
Grease runs until Saturday February 23, for details and tickets call the box office on 0161 242 2509.
