A 49-YEAR-OLD woman was found dead in bed at her Helmshore home by her partner, an inquest opening heard.
Eva Stanford, who had gone to bed at 11pm the night before, was discovered by Mr Stephen Ramsbottom, at 7.30am on February 14, the hearing, at Burnley Magistrates' Court was told.
Paramedics were called to her house in Sunnybank Close, but she was already dead.
Samples had been sent to Manchester Royal Infirmary for analysis and cremation was planned. Acting East Lancs Coroner Richard Taylor adjourned the inquest.
