A CONCERT by pupils at a Poulton school has raised hundreds of pounds for the fight against cancer.
Members of the choir at Hodgson High School, Moorland Road, held an annual "Sing Out Against Cancer" day and raised £300 for the Macmillan Windmill Appeal.
They sang in and around school and in the centre of Poulton to raise the money, and presented the Windmill Appeal with a cheque for the amount on Tuesday, February 19.
According to appeal director Elaine Fossett, the combined efforts of the choir and band have so far raised £750.
