HELP to save a life and give blood at a donor session at the Drive Methodist Church, Clifton Drive North, on March 1. The sessions are from 2pm to 4pm and 5.30pm to 7.30pm.
LYTHAM
TAKE the last chance to visit the park at Lytham Hall this Sunday for a February snowdrop walk. This will be the final opportunity to see the grounds before late summer, due to an anticipated programme of extensive improvements. The walk is between 11am and 4pm. Last entry is at 3pm. Admission is £1 for adults and 50p for children. Free car parking. All proceeds go toward improvements to the Hall.

A SERVICE for Women's World Day of Prayer will be held at Bispham United Reformed Church on March 1 at 2pm. The preacher will be Sue Leach.
FLEETWOOD
DANCE fans can enjoy authentic jazz dance when the Jiving Lindy Hoppers come to the Marine Hall on February 27. The group will perform toe-tapping rhythms from the 1920s to the 1960s. Tickets are £6.50 or £5 concessions. For further information call 771141.

BLACKPOOL
ENJOY a poetry recital at the Grundy Art Gallery, in Queen Street, on March 5. February's chosen poet is 1992's Literature Nobel Prize winner Derek Walcott. Readers will be June Foster, Sheila Jardine and Mary Parry. Also featured will be Canadian poet Paul Sutherland, reading from his own work. Free admission. Refreshments available. The recital runs from 12.30pm to 1.45pm. All welcome.
THORNTON CLEVELEYS
