NELSON could not stick to boss John Bailey's orders - but luckily it worked out okay.
The Blues manager spent 20 minutes telling his side not to concede an early goal at Norton.
"We went out and they scored one in the first minute! But I was pleased with the way we came from behind and got a win. It was a huge confidence boost."
Nelson won 3-1 and they are now looking to build on this when they welcome high flying Blackpool Mechanics to Victoria Park.
Bailey has signed striker Martin McClelland, a former Bradford Park Avenue frontman, from Silsden.
