BACUP manager Brent Peters is despairing of one of his players - but will forgive him if he scores a winning goal at Leek CSOB in the NWCL Division Two clash tomorrow.
Peters sent a text message to all his players last week saying "Meet 1.45pm at West View for Saturday's game against Ashton." Five minutes later he got a message back from Jason Lanns saying 'Where's Vest View?'
"I wouldn't mind but Jason has been at Bacup for six months and there is a big sign at the players entrance saying 'West View'!" joked Peters. "This is what I am up against!"
The Bacup boss is likely to have new boys Stuart Grimshaw, a striker from Salford, and Gary Lloyd, an experienced midfielder, in the squad.
Mark Hall and Nahuro Mackenzie have joined Flixton.
