IN response to David Kemp (Your Letters, Feb 1) may I point out that correspondent "Sharon" is not a parent of any of the young footballers at Lower Gigg, she just enjoys watching them play.
And if David Kemp would care to come down to Lower Gigg at 12-30 pm on a Saturday, not Sunday, after the matches, he would see that the children do not leave empty plastic bottles everywhere. They are supplied with sports bottles for their half-time drinks and these are taken away every week and then re-used.
In conclusion, parents are sick and tired of having to clean up after people who are clearly unfit to own a dog. If they won't clean up after it they should not have one!
ANGELA MASON,
(disgusted parent).
