ROVERS secure a 2-1 win over Spurs with a valiant last twenty minutes, following Andy Cole's match winner.
Andy Cole got a toe on the end of a bouncing ball that Spurs failed to clear properly and it looped past Sullivan.
Graeme Souness told ITV Sport: "Cole is a top man, you know what you are going to get with Andy, and how can you not take him to the World Cup."
And man of the match Brad Friedel, also received special mention from Souness, who said: "Friedel is a great player and I wouldn't swap him with any other keeper in the Premiership."
Flicroft and Berg held the Worthington Cup up high as the players collected their medals on the Millennium Stadium pitch.
The game was very tight with both teams creating chances and as the game was stretched int he seconf half, Friedel pulled off a goal line save from a powerful Ferdinand herder.
The first half saw Blackburn more than hold their own to go into half-time all square in the final against Spurs.
Following a tentative opening fifteen minutes Rovers came more into the game and Jansen ensured Rovers took the lead with a smart finish after the ball broke in the box.
But the lead lasted just eight minutes as Ziege tapped the ball home from three yards out as Perdinand kept his cool down the right wing, and rolled the ball across to the far post.
However, Rovers still have it all to play for and as the game gets more stretched there are sure to be more goals.
Mark Hughes is to play in the centre of mid-field alongside David Dunn, with Duff down the left wing and Gillespie on the right.
The rest of the team sees Friedal in goals, from left to right Taylor, Berg, Johansson and Bjornaby.
Upfront sees Andy Cole be partnered by Jansen
