RESIDENTS of Burnley have until an April 5 deadline to make comments on the new Local Plan.
Every, person, business and organisation in the borough has the chance to get involved in the plan's preparation and to comment on its contents.
During the six-week deposit period anyone can make formal objections or support representations in the planning document which will shape the future development of Burnley for the next decade.
The plan contains policies and proposals for the future development and use of land in the borough, including green belt, historic buildings and development for shops, housing, employment and other uses.
Copies can be inspected or bought from the council's planning offices, Parker Lane, Burnley and Padiham Town halls and Burnley central and Padiham libraries, or view online at www.burnley.gov.uk/local plan
