A SLEEPING teenager became angry when he awoke to find his friends cutting his hair, a court was told.
Alan Sturdy, 18, hit and stabbed one man and a second was also cut with the knife.
The defendant, who also raided his parents' home while on bail, was sent to a young offenders' institution for a total of 18 months by Burnley Crown Court.
Sturdy, of Lydia Street, Accrington, had earlier admitted two counts of assault causing actual bodily harm and one of burglary.
Sentencing him, Judge David Pirie said when he last appeared in court, the defendant had spent some time in custody and he had considered the possibility of a non custodial sentence.
But, the judge added, Sturdy had failed to comply with the requirements of a bail hostel.
Paul Hague, defending, said Sturdy had been drinking with a group of friends, he fell asleep and they sat on him and started cutting his hair.
The defendant woke up and got angry when he saw the lads having a laugh. His friend struck the first blow and in response Sturdy picked up a knife.
He had a bottle in his other hand and hit one victim over the head with the bottle and stabbed him in the arm with the knife.
A second man was also cut with the knife.
