THE ambitions of community groups will be clear to all at this week's annual meeting of Bury housing forum.
Seven groups from across the borough have entered videos showing how they plan to improve their neighbourhood.
These will be viewed by a judging panel and the best submission will receive £300 towards the cost.
The meeting is held on Thursday(Feb 28) at Radcliffe Civic Suite, starting at 6.15pm.
Councillor John Smith, housing spokesman, said: "The competition is intended to give local people a real chance to make a difference in their community."
Violet Barnard, housing forum chairman, added: "The AGM will review the year's housing events and everyone will be able to make suggestions for the next 12 months. Those comments can and do influence the council's own strategy for the future."
For those coming from Bury, transport will leave from the Elizabethan Suite at Bury Town Hall at 5.45pm. For further information, contact Kay Johnson on 253 5533.
