THIEVES broke into a Preston house while the owners were sleeping and stole their car.
The three young thieves smashed a front window at the Squires Wood house in Fulwood, at around 5am on Tuesday, February 26.
They reached in to take a set of car keys and house keys, then drove off in the owners Volkswagen Golf Saloon, worth around £20,000.
The owners of the house called the police, and the car was spotted being driven along Eastway, Preston, and was later found dumped in Barns Wood.
The thieves were seen running from the car. The first was around 15 years old, 5ft 10ins tall and wearing a green Parka jacket.
The other thieves were around 15 years old and slightly smaller, wearing dark clothes.
Anybody who can help should call Preston police on 203203.
