A 69-YEAR-OLD woman who won more than £28,000 during a game of Bingo today asked to remain anonymous.
The Leyland grandmother scooped the prize in a National Bingo Game last Saturday at the Gala Club in Preston winning a prize of £25,000, as well as a further £3,430 regional prize and house prize of £49.
Some of the cash will go to her married daughter who lives in Dubai.
She said: "She phoned Sunday night and I told her the good news and the first thing she said was we were to come over.
"My husband was in the Navy and we have both done a lot of travelling over the years."
Her other daughter and two grandchildren are also set to benefit from the windfall.
The woman has been a member of the Gala Bingo club for nine years and used to play at Southport until it closed three years ago.
She added: "I have only ever won small amounts before, nothing like this. I haven't got over it yet and still can't sleep properly."
Her £28,000 was part of a £50,000 National Bingo prize shared with a player in Corby, who hit a full house in 45 numbers -- the fewest anywhere in the UK.
