THE CO-OP is offering people in Leigh the chance to learn more about fair trade and sample products from poorer nations at a mini conference.
The meeting will be held at the Turnpike Centre, Leigh, on Saturday, March 9, from noon to 3pm. It is open to anyone interested in learning more about fair trade.
Among the speakers at the event, being held to mark Fairtrade Fortnight, will be Sam Magona, a coffee producer supplying Cafedirect, and representatives of Oxfam, the Co-operative Group and Shared Interest.
