PUPILS at Rossendale's "fame" school recreated West Side Story in the dress rehearsal for three arts evenings.
Haslingden High School will be renamed Haslingden Performing Arts College after being awarded the prestigious specialist status and £500,000 from the government.
Acting headteacher Stephanie Holden said: "The expressive arts evenings are a celebration of music dance and drama."
Tickets are still available for the performances tomorrow and Saturday but Friday is a sell-out.
