BLACKPOOL can thanks its Lucky Stars as a legendary singer/songwriter pops into town this May.
Dean Friedman marked his entry into pop with the infectious hit single Ariel -- a quirkily irresistible song about a free-spirited, vegetarian Jewish girl in a peasant blouse.
A year later Friedman struck gold again with the magical duet Lucky Stars with Denise Marsa which zoomed to the top of the UK charts. The strangely-titled hit album "Well, Well" Said the Rocking Chair followed.
And now Dean is back with a new CD, The Treehouse Journals, and a one night stand at the Pavilion Theatre in the Winter Gardens on May 31. Call Blackpool Live on (01253) 292029 for tickets prices and further details.
