ERIC Clapton tribute 'After Midnight' will be at the Platform in Morecambe on March 15.
Taking their name from one of Clapton's most famous songs, their ability to recreate Clapton's electrifying stage performances is due to guitarist/vocalist Mike Hall not only looking like Eric, but singing and playing guitar like him too!
In 1999, Mike won a national look-alike competition held at Madame Tussards in London.
He has met Eric Clapton twice and has even received a message of encouragement from the guitar maestro.
The band have recently been honoured to perform at Clapton's Fan Club Convention in London.
In July 2001 Guitarist Magazine featured an article about the band.
They are now acknowledged as the world's number one Eric Clapton Tribute Band.
They are presently on an extensive tour of UK theatres, having completed successful tours of Scotland and Ireland, including a sell-out show at Belfast's prestigious Waterfront Hall.
Classic Clapton! will feature almost 2 hours of pure Clapton hits including Wonderful Tonight, Tears in Heaven, Crossroads, I Shot the Sheriff, Sunshine of Your Love, Cocaine and, of course, Layla.
There will even be an unplugged segment.
You can see Classic Clapton! performed by 'After Midnight' at the Platform on Friday, March 15 amd for tickets call 582803.
