CAN you help to make a dream come true for children with a life-threatening illness?
The Fylde-based charity Donna's Dream House Trust, which provides free holidays-of-a-lifetime for ill youngsters and their families, is renovating a property in Blackpool with a little help from a team of Prince's Trust Volunteers.
But the volunteers -- all youngsters aged between 16 and 25 -- desperately need building advice and donations of materials in order to complete the project in time for the grand opening on March 14.
They are to build a barbecue patio area at the new Donna's Dream House property as part of a 12-week programme to help them become more employable and more integrated within society.
But Prince's Trust support worker Frank Seaton said the volunteer team needed materials and advice in order to complete the project.
"The most important thing we need is people from the local building trade who can give advice. We have young people who have never picked up a hammer in their lives and we need people who can offer guidance," he said.
If you can donate materials suitable for a patio, or can offer any advice or guidance to the young volunteers, call (01253) 297576.
