A HOPE Carr resident has praised increased action by his ward councillors.
Peter Bowdler, of Dakins Road, thanks the trio, Cllrs Kevin Anderson, John O'Brien and Lynne Liptrot, for their work in making the Bow Road-Hurst Street junction safer.
He said: "It's good to see the councillors conducting street surgeries and estate walkabouts in Hope Carr, sometimes accompanied by our MP Andy Burnham.
"I feel they deserve credit for taking the time to come and talk to the public and noting concerns and problems -- helping sort out new road markings at the junction of Bow Road and Hurst Street which have helped to slow down traffic."
