They must have more to spare in other towns though than they do here. Either that or we're more short-sighted.
A multi-drop delivery man I know has collected £1.04 in penny and two penny pieces in the space of a few weeks by picking up dropped coppers.
I never see any in our town centres, we must be more watchful, careful or have short arms and long pockets.
The only luck I've had was when I stumbled on one lost coin the other day -- and that was 2 Danish ore!
