POLICE are hunting two armed robbers who carried out another raid on a Victoria Wine off-licence in Prestwich.
The men walked into the Bury Old Road outlet, which has been targeted before, at 5.25pm on Sunday (Feb 24) and threatened the 21-year-old male shop assistant with a knife and a heavy spanner.
The employee was forced to open the till and the raiders grabbed a small amount of cash together with a quantity of telephone cards and cigarettes.
The first offender is described as a white male, in his late 20s, 5ft 10ins, of medium build, with short cropped hair. He was wearing a long black jacket, trainers and black tracksuit bottoms.
His accomplice is also a white male, aged 26, 5ft 8 ins, slim, with scruffy black hair and a stubbly chin. He also wore a long black coat and a baseball cap.
Both men made off in a dark coloured hatchback car.
