DANISH hardman Stig Tofting today warned Rovers to expect a war in tomorrow's crucial six-pointer with Bolton at the Reebok.

The tough-tackling midfielder, pictured, will be charged with stifling the creative talents of flair players like David Dunn in what promises to be a red-hot Lancashire derby.

And Tofting has warned he is not planning on taking any prisoners as he goes in search of the points to boost Wanderers' survival bid.

"It's going to be a tough game and the team with the most heart will win it.

"I watched Blackburn beat Tottenham on Sunday and I thought they played very well.

"But I don't think it will be such a good game tomorrow because there's too much at stake.

"So I think we'll see a really tough contest and whoever shows the most fight should come out on top."

Wanderers have yet to concede a goal in the two games since Tofting signed in a cut-price deal from Hamburg.

And the Danish international hopes his steel in midfield will tip the balance tomorrow against a Rovers side boosted by Sunday's Worthington Cup success.

"Against Blackburn tomorrow we have to make sure they don't get the chance to play their football because, as we saw on Sunday, they are good with the ball," said Tofting.

"We, therefore, have to put some pressure on them so they don't have the opportunity to knock it about.

"But that's not just my responsibility, it's the responsibility of the whole team.

"The whole key to success here is the the team spirit and not one man going out playing for himself.

"In the two games I've played in so far we haven't conceded a goal so that has to be a good sign and we have to build on that from here."
