BOLTON Bury Information Advice and Guidance Partnership (IAG) is celebrating the awarding of a Charter Mark.
Representatives joined more than 200 delegates, who make up the North West Information Advice and Guidance Network, at their annual conference.
They celebrated their Quality Mark success in providing work-related information and advice to adults across the region.
The Network, consisting of 11 Partnerships, represents a range of organisations including the further education sector, Careers Service, employers, local authorities and voluntary and community organisations.
The Quality Mark is a national quality standard which recognises excellence in provision of adult information and advice services and is awarded by the Guidance Accreditation Board.
Jane Doyle, Bolton Bury IAG Co-ordinator said: "The aim of the Partnership is to bring together a wide range of organisations relating to learning and work and to pool information and resources all of which can be accessed by adults here in Bolton and Bury.
"Our annual conference gives us all a chance to share information in order to provide consistent good practice from which all adults across the North West who want to learn or need advice can benefit."
She added: "The award of the Quality Mark is a major endorsement of the quality of services on offer.
"And adults should feel able to approach any Partnership organisation confident that they can be helped or quickly referred to other member organisations best suited to meet their specific information and advice needs."
Bolton Bury IAG is part of a network of 25 organisations across both towns, offering information, advice and guidance on issues relating to learning and work.
