REFORMING drug addict Jason Row was made subject to a drug testing and treatment order by Blackburn magistrates after admitting a series of sneak-in burglaries committed to fund his habit.
Row, 26, of Leicester Road, Blackburn, pleaded guilty to three charges of burglary and asked for another 8 offences to be taken into consideration.
As well as the 12-month order he was ordered to pay £100 costs.
Richard Prew, defending, said Row had a serious drug problem but since November there had been a steady improvement which he said his client was determined to maintain.
"His progress is such that he is now only taking prescribed drugs and the testing element of the order holds no fears for him," said Mr Prew.
Imposing the order, the chairman said the magistrates had taken into account the efforts Row had already made and the level of commitment he had shown to getting off drugs.
