ROSSENDALE dropped another two points as their poor form at Dark Lane continued in the UniBond First Division.
They recorded their fourth home draw on the bounce as the forwards again failed to produce the goods to boost their promotion hopes.
In what in truth was a dire first half, the visitors created the better openings.
Mark Andrews saved Richard Close's header and Shane Jessop hit the post with a low shot from inside the area.
James Shepherd attempted the spectacular, trying to lob Andrews from the halfway line, but his effort drifted just wide of the post.
After the break Rossendale stepped up the pace and took the game to the visitors.
Darren Bowman fired a shot just wide, and Jerome Fitzgerald was denied by Lee Ward after good work from substitute Carl Howarth had put him through.
Ward then denied Bowman with a full length save and also did well to block Howarth's low shot as the substitute continued to impress.
Kendal came more into the game in the final 20 minutes and could have snatched a winner on the break on more than one occasion, but despite seven minutes of added time, the deadlock couldn't be broken and a point each was about the right result.
