A THIEF has broken into Burnley Football Club manager Stan Ternent's car.
The motor was parked outside Turf Moor in Harry Potts Way at 1.10pm yesterday when the crook smashed a window and stole a black washing bag containing toiletries.
Police are studying CCTV footage to see if the thief was caught on camera.
Det Sgt Peter Simm said they were looking for a white male, tall and slim with dark hair. He was wearing a three-quarter length coat with a horizontal stripe around the waist.
Mr Ternent was unavailable for comment. Club chief executive Andrew Watson said: "It was the manager's car. They stole a toilet bag but all being well we will have them on the security camera which is out on the street.
"We have not had this kind of problem before outside the club before."
