I DON'T normally participate in the repartee that goes on between Rovers and Burnley supporters, but as a follower of Rovers for nigh on 60 years, I had to write about Stephen Cummings' article (LET, February 26).
I was incensed.
The whole piece was filled with sarcastic jibes about Crewe, but the last paragraph about the Rovers was when the vitriol poured from his pen.
I don't know why he can't take a leaf out of his revered manager's book and give credit where credit is due.
If he can't come out with anything constructive, he should shut up. After all -- discretion is the better part of valour.
