LAST June, the people of Hyndburn voted to let Labour control Lancashire County Council.
As a thank-you our Labour county councillors have decided to increase our council tax in April by 7.7 per cent -- more than three times the rate of inflation and costing the average household £70-£80 per year extra.
"Don't blame us," said the leader of the county council. "It's the government's fault." The amount they have allocated to Lancashire is the second lowest in the country for the second year running.
So why have Labour county councillors allowed a Labour government to treat us so badly and what has our Labour MP done about it?
They clearly think that we will put up with anything. Well, I tell them now, enough is enough.
