CLITHEROE Grammar School have been crowned overall Hyndburn and Ribble Valley schools swimming champions.
The school also won the boys trophy in a low turn out of just three secondary schools.
Saint Christopher's from Accrington won the girls trophy with Mount Carmel also taking part in the gala event at Hyndburn Sports Centre.
Katie Batrop was Clitheroe's top performer with two first places while Nicholas Fender equalled the feat for St Christophers.
In total, Clitheroe and St Christophers shared the honours of the most first places with 13 each but Clitheroe finished first overall.
Mount Carmel also put up a good performance in the pool earning five first places. As well as Katie Bartrop's success for Clitheroe, other winners were: Louise Highton (first and second), Michael Olstowski (first and second), John Byrom (first and second), Andrew Leeson (first and second), Rob West (first and second) and Mark Jaggs (first and second) while Francesca Robinson, Richard Anchors, Anna Rowlandson and Richard Stone all won their events.
St Christophers prize guys were: Kate Whittham (first and second) and Katie Waddington (first and second) while Rebecca Smith was first and third in her events.
Other winners were Sarah Casey, Emma Hornby, Emma-Scott Miller, Emma Jones, Jonathan Hoyle, Jamie Law and Emily Hargreaves.
For Mount Carmel, Sam Dunderdale, Natalie Honey and Ben Nichols picked up a first and second place in their two events.
Katie Gedzielewski and Nicholas Di Francesco picked up first and third places. St Christophers won the girls freestyle relay while Clitheroe won the girls medley and both boys events.
