A HOME video of lost childhood memories is back with its fairy princess owner, Rebecca Cunliffe -- thanks to a Journal appeal.
Tyldesley mum Leanne Wilkinson was surprised when she played the bargain tape of Sleeping Beauty bought at a Leigh car boot sale.
It wasn't the Disney version of the fairytale which came on screen, but a Golborne County Primary School production of the show.
Leanne, of Rutland Road, Tyldesley, called on the Journal to find the owner of the film which starred Rebecca, now 10, as Princess Alice.
She said: "As a mother myself I know how precious childhood memories are. I should image the owner of this tape is missing it very much and I would like to reunite them with it."
A delighted mum Joanne Cunliffe rang to claim the tape which was made by Rebecca's grandfather, Roy Oliver, two years ago, and which she believes was accidentally dumped in a box on Plank Lane tip after she moved house in November from Bank Street, Golborne, to Ashton.
She said: "We looked high and low for the tape made when Rebecca was seven, and are delighted to get it back. We'd like to thank Leanne for her thoughtfulness."
