STOCKPORT Georgians' grip on the Premier Division leadership was strengthened by a 6-1 win at Dukinfield Town, leaving them three points clear of Leigh Athletic with three games in hand.
Leigh Athletic were made to work for the points from the visit of Prestwich Heys, Danny Wilson putting Leigh ahead before Ant Greenhouse levelled for Heys, but Rick Wilson struck the decisive blow later in the half to seal the points.
Hindsford ran out comprehensive 6-1 winners over Unsworth, Matt Toone, Neil Critchley and Aaron Walker adding to a Johnny Morris hat-trick for the Tonics, Ian Newton replying for the visitors in the second half.
