BLOWER'S back! Comedian and local legend Joey Blower has blasted back into North Pier's Merrie England Bar for his eighth consecutive season.
Joey, above, will be on stage at 1pm and 9.30pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday until New Year's Day with backing by DJ Jamie.
And the cuddly comic is getting interactive with Joey's Text a Request where audience members can text requests including music, jokes and special occasion greetings on (07986) 336555.
The search will also begin for Joey's Pub Stars 2002 -- a karaoke competition in search of a star with £1,000 prize money up for grabs and the potential of a summer season contract.
