ARE you lonesome tonight? Well put on your blue suede shoes and prepare to Jailhouse Rock -- Elvis is coming to Blackpool.
The Elvis Collection -- regarded by many as Europe's number one tribute band -- will bring their unique celebration of Elvis Presley's music to the Opera House, Blackpool, at 7.30pm on April 21 this year.
And in the year of the 25th anniversary of Elvis's death, the Elvis Collection plan to present a tribute show in its truest sense with a spectacular live band re-creating the King's greatest hits.
Big production numbers like American Trilogy and Suspicious MInds will be performed with the same passion and attention to detail as rock 'n' roll classics like Hound Dog and Jailhouse Rock.
The ten-piece band is fronted by lead singer Billy J McGregor (pictured right). He says: "Elvis was such a charismatic guy but too many Presley tribute shows rely on jokey impersonations that completely miss the point. We take the legend of the King back to what really counts -- the music." Viva Las Fakers!
Tickets costing £12.50 are available from the box office on 292029.
