A TWO-seater BMW sports car was stolen then abandoned and set on fire at Pilsworth on Sunday evening (March 3).
Whitefield fire crews were called around midnight to a dirt track off Hollins Brow where they found the burning vehicle. They were unable to save the BMW Z3.
Bury police were informed of the fire which is being treated as malicious.
