EUROPE'S biggest glass collection is set to go on display again later this month when the Haworth art gallery reopens.
The Baxenden gallery, which has been closed for extensive refurbishment work, features the Tiffany glass collection and officially reopens on March 20. Peter Baron, a leisure services officer for Hyndburn Borough Council, said the refit cost in the region of £450,000.
Most came from lottery funding but it also received council money and a generous anonymous donation.
