P PRIME Minister Tony Blair has told the Commons that the Government will be looking into Lancashire County Council' s controversial residential care home plans.
Mr Blair was answering questions from the floor when he confirmed that Government officials would be investigating the county's proposals to close 35 care homes.
Local people will have a chance to voice their opinions at a meeting in Morecambe's Cartmel Centre, Euston Road, on March 13, at 7pm.County Cllr, Chris Cheetham said: "Our intention is to listen and answer any questions people may have.
I urge anyone who has an opinion or valid suggestion to come along to one of our sessions."
