RECIPES that Granny used to make are being sought by students at Alder Grange High School in Rawtenstall for inclusion in a special recipe book.
Food Technology teacher Alison Clough-Halstead has introduced the competition and encouraging pupils to write down family favourite recipes and prepare them in school with a view to the best ones being included in a book.
There will also be a prize offered to the winner of the best recipe.
Former Alder Grangers will also be invited to get involved by having a look at the school's website and sending the school their own recipes.
