STARS IN Their Eyes fans from Hyndburn might recognise a familiar face on tonight's show -- but then again they might not as one of the 'stars' has undergone another dramatic transformation since filming.
Young mum Liana Tabbalat, of Countess Street, Accrington, walked through the famous smokescreen last summer with jet black hair when she uttered the words "Tonight Matthew I'm going to be ..."
And after an hour sitting in make-up she reappeared as early 60s singer Susan Maughan whose biggest hit was Bobby's Girl. But when she and her family and friends sit down to watch the show together tonight she will be sporting her new copper and blonde highlighted look.
Liana, 21, said: "After we watch the programme a bunch of us are going for a night out in Manchester but I don't think anyone will recognise me because I do look so different now.
"I'm looking forward to watching it now but when I first put my outfit and wig on I was sure everyone would burst out laughing."
Liana whose only former experience of singing was around the house, in the shower and occasionally on karaoke was talked into applying by a close friend but decided to go for it once the application form had been sent.
Stars in their Eyes is on ITV1 at 6.30pm
