A MAN is to appear in court charged with the murder of a Prestwich father, who planned to get married later this year.
Nathaniel Jacobs suffered a number of stab injuries to his head and body after the attack at an office in Hulme on Wednesday afternoon.
Sources said Mr Jacobs, known as Nat to his friends, was a father to a 15-year-old boy and a two-year-old child and planned to marry his girlfriend in the summer.
The 40-year-old former boxer, of Overbrook Drive, was found at 3.30pm on Wednesday when police were called to a disturbance at office premises in Chester Road, Hulme, where it is understood Mr Jacobs worked.
Mr Jacobs died from his injuries shortly after arriving at Manchester Royal Infirmary.
Christopher Lambe, aged 28, of Devon Road, Partington, is due before Manchester City magistrates this morning, charged with murder.
Officers are still looking for three other men in connection with the incident.
