ASDA'S "Big Science" week meant a trip to the supermarket for pupils of St Mary's RC Primary School in Radcliffe.
Monday (March 4) visit to the town's superstore gave the youngsters from the Belgrave Street school an opportunity to learn about science in the real world.

The pupils were treated to a number of demonstrations covering such topics as how dirty clothes can be cleaned and the importance of packaging to protect food.
