AS A Rovers supporter, I read with interest that Burnley FC were looking to sign Paul Gascoigne to help boost their already-flagging season (LET, March 5).
Why stop there, Burnley -- what about George Best or Pele?
Both couldn't do any worse than the present squad.
So let Stephen Cummings carry on writing garbage every Tuesday -- Rovers will still have some of the best young players in the Premiership next season while the "Dingles" have the best "has-beens" still in the First Division.
